Join Us for ISH 2026!

Each year, around 1,000 Undocumented youth graduate from Arizona high schools, but most do not obtain the support, guidance and networks they deserve. The Immigrant Scholarship Hustle exists to increase access to higher education for Undocumented youth in Southern Arizona through community, empowerment, and education with, by, and for Undocumented youth.
We are creating pathways after high school that center the experience, shared resilience, and power of undocumented youth.
By the end of the 2 week summer program, participants will:
- Community
- Gain a network of peers and community support that can be carried throughout their journey after high school
- Reclaim and experience joy by building community, shared resilience, and celebrating their identities
- Empowerment
- Feel empowered to tell their stories and advocate for themselves
- Build leadership skills and confidence to advocate for our communities
- Education
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of local and national policies that impact undocumented youth
- Gain resources and create their own opportunities to pay for college through scholarships, financial aid and work
- Gain support navigating both the transition into college and the experience of being an undocumented student
- Explore how to navigate young adulthood and career pathways through an undocumented perspective

We have a safety plan in place that includes transportation support to ensure your comfort and well-being during in-person days. If you are unsure about your commitment to the program at this time, we still encourage you to register before the deadline. We will communicate a full outline of the safety plan after you are registered so you and your family can make the final decision.
