Alondra Solis Lopez and is an Undocumented Immigrant pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration at Grand Canyon University. She was born in Guachochi, Chihuahua, México. Her family came to the U.S. when she was eight years old in hopes for a better future. She applied to the Immigrant Scholarship Hustle her senior year of high school and became a part of Tucson ISH Cohort 4. She has always dreamed about attending college and becoming an ISH scholar opened many doors that she didn’t even know she could open. The SA-Z team showed her the importance of telling her story and that it is worthy of being heard. Because of this, she want to encourage every person in her community to tell their story.
