Our Mission [what we do]:
The Undocumented Youth Empowerment Initiative (UYEI) seeks to help Arizona Undocumented youth find pathways beyond high school. UYEI provides year-round support and programming to Undocumented youth through consistent spaces where they can build community and have the opportunity to thrive. Undocumented youth who participate will have access to our student support team and workshops in the following areas:
- Scholarship writing and college success
- Leadership growth and social awareness
- How to earn money and navigate employment possibilities
- Strategies for self-care and well being
Our Vision [what we want to accomplish]
The Undocumented Youth Empowerment Initiative seeks to increase resources available to Undocumented youth to allow them to create their own pathways without limitations. We envision a world where the barriers and systems that negatively impact Undocumented youth cease to exist, thus, making our work no longer needed.
