Nancy Laguna (she/her/Ella) was born in Hermosillo, Sonora and was brought to the US at three years old. In 2021 she became a Dream.US recipient with the help of SA-Z’s Immigrant Scholarship Hustle program, and was inspired to keep advocating and supporting students in their academic and personal undocumented journey. As she continues to study at Grand Canyon University, she also focuses on building her skills in Marketing and Communications, while educating and inspiring communities as they once did for her through working with other local non -profit organizations. As the Development Fellow, she is excited to support SA-Z’s in designing and implementing innovative fundraising initiatives, build strong donor relationships and enhance outreach efforts to overall help the organization’s growth in creating an impactful change!
