Andrea Morones (She/Her/Ella) was born in Ciudad Obregon, Sonora, and migrated to Tucson, Arizona in 2008. In 2017, she graduated from Tucson High Magnet School. She has a dual enrollment at Pima Community College and The Catholic University of America, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in business management. She will be graduating in May 2025.

“Pursuing higher education in the U.S. has been filled with rough patches. The laws and regulations often destroyed my dreams and hopes. My personal desire to demonstrate to my parents that their sacrifice of leaving their country and family behind motivated me to get up every morning to keep fighting for my dreams. This road has taught me that I am worthy, loved and more than the labels given to me by society. I am more than just “undocumented.” I want the focus of my career to be on undocumented students. Our dreams are worth fighting for, no matter the odds. I hope to encourage and guide as many students as I can.
